Health & Safety

At SCFR Ltd to date, we have a clean health and safety record and take pride in ensuring that the highest standards with regular attendance on site with our Nebosh – accredited advisor. We have taken the following measures and training to ensure we are a safe company:

  • We have provided training so that all our on-site personnel are first aid trained
  • Combination PASMA – which means our trained personnel are able to construct scaffold podiums what are both low lying and tower scaffolds
  • IPAF – this enables our trained staff to use height reaching equipment such as Scissor lifts, Cherry Pickers etc.
  • SSSTS – this is a site supervisor’s course which teaches Supervisors the health and safety aspect of leading a team on the construction site.
  • Confined Spaces – this would enable our staff to work within a limited space using the correct safety procedures.
  • NVQ Level 2 Award in Concrete finishing – This has helped our operatives to gain a larger insight into concrete finishing but also gives us an opportunity to promote personnel from other trades to join our team.

We are committed to training all our staff to the highest possible standards, by gaining all the relevant qualifications and training needed to continue our growth that we have shown in the last few years.

On-site policy

On-site every morning we ensure that our site supervisor’s carry out a health and safety toolbox briefing which outlines key hazards and areas of work. We regularly review and update our health and safety and environment policies in line with government standards and client expectations. Copied of our policies are available upon request.
